The Second Advanced Ufology Congress of Paraná, Brazil ~ March 18-20 2016
Registrations are now open for the most popular ufology event of the year. It will be hosted by UFO Magazine at Curitiba from March 18-20, at the Bourbon Curitiba Convention Hotel. It will be the second Advanced Ufology Congress of Paraná.
Its 17 lecturers include eight Brazilian and two foreign crop-circle specialists. Among them is Lucy Pringle from the UK, the field’s pioneer, and curator of the largest crop-circle archive of 30 years of research. Also, the Argentinean Mercedes Casa, leader in the field in her country.
UFO Magazine considers that the time has come for society to better understand the crop-circle phenomenon and discover the intelligences that produce them and the message they convey in crops all over the world. In Brazil, the phenomenon started in 2008 and this will be the moment for this great debate.
Crop Circles: Windows of Perception
Wednesday, October 28, 2015, 4:15-5:45
For hundreds of years, large geometric designs have appeared in the fields of Southern England. Some crop circles emit an energy that has permanently or temporarily disabled varied electrical equipment such as cameras and computers. Dowsers, using pendulums and dowsing rods, record dramatic shifts of the energy lines in crop circles and mathematicians are confounded by some of their geometric constructions. Lucy Pringle will share her findings and also discuss her scientific research into the temporary relief of Parkinson’s disease.
Lucy will be lecturing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as part of the Taboo Subjects series organized by Ben Nicholson, Associate Professor in SAIC’s Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects (AIADO), and is part of the William Bronson and Grayce Slovet Mitchell Lecture Series.
Taboo Subjects considers how every discipline has its own kind of discursive no-go zone. Architecture, landscape, and design, with the related fields of system and infrastructure design, has taboo subjects of conversation and practice, that it has not yet found the language to mull over constructively.
Lucy will speak at ‘Unidentified Aerospace Phenomena. Alien Civilizations – For and Against’ - a specialist scientific conference, dedicated to alien civilizations in Sofia, Bulgaria from the 6th until the 8th of November 2015. Conference website
It will take place within the eleventh scientific conference ‘Space, ecology, security’, organized by the Institute for Space Exploration and Technology at BAN (Bulgarian Academy of Science).
The forum is named ‘Unidentified Aerospace Phenomena. Alien Civilizations – For and Against’ and is dedicated to the scientific approach towards unidentified aerospace phenomena and the development of the way mankind is thinking about contact with other civilizations.
Such a forum on such a serious scientific level is taking place for the second time. It will draw a taboo topic out of the shadows – the possible contact with other cosmic civilizations in the near future. It is time that mankind stars speaking about these topics calmly and rationally and on a sound scientific basis. It is required that we reach the widest possible vision of what life and consciousness are,for us to be prepared adequately for future contact with beings of our level of development, or even higher.
For this purpose, the necessary platforms and scientific bodies need to be created, which have to approach this topic openly and seriously and to do so in full collaboration with society. It is important to track the achievements of the already functional European and Russian laboratories for phenomena exploration, as well as the organizations for systematic sky monitoring, with the aim to register abnormal occurrences.
The topics of discussion in the conference are:
- Problems in searching for signs of alien civilizations – active and passive monitoring. Life on other planets. Guest lecturers from the Russian Academy of Sciences, the SETI - California Institute and GEIPAN – the French Space Agency.
- The ‘Crop Circle’ problem. A discussion featuring representatives from the biggest bodies exploring this phenomenon, from the USA, Russia, the UK, Italy and France.
- Aliens and space exploration. Russian and American astronaut accounts for alien presence.
- Are records for contact of a higher-level being hidden – documents confirming that information around actual contacts are being classified. Misinformation about UFO crashes. Italian and French experts will show and discuss data and eyewitness accounts.
- Unidentified aerospace phenomena (UFOs) in Ireland, Norway and France.
- Mental contacts with aliens and the concept of the Information field in the Universe.
- The Italian UFO Organization’s experience and knowledge - celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
